About Jim

Jim Tirey has played the piano since he was 10 years old, and started playing for his childhood church's worship services in 8th grade.  He began playing the organ nearly 20 years ago, and became the keyboard accompanist for the congregation at First Presbyterian in 2013.  Jim enjoys all styles of music, from high-church classical to contemporary praise and worship.  He has a special love for the old hymns of the church.  When he is not playing the piano or organ in church, he practices law and serves as Hale County Attorney.  He is married to his college sweetheart, Brandy, who is the director for special education for Plainview ISD, and they have three children, Grayson, Sawyer, and Graham.
